When US/Canada Customs examines shipment at border port; after 2 hrs free time
“a detention fee of $129.00 per hour shall be assessed for any portion of an hour after 2 hours of free time and until the driver is allowed to proceed.” (p. 31)
After 8 hrs free time; use of vehicle for public sale of contents; escalating per 24 hrs
“For the first 24 hours or fraction thereof, $154.00 per vehicle... second 24 hours... $229.50... third and each succeeding 24 hours... $286.80” (p. 40)
After free time (3-7 hrs by weight); first hour or less $216.90, each additional 30 min $107.50
